Match Report
Goal Sports A Team
The tournament got under way for both Goal Sports teams vs Skirlaugh A + B. Goal Sports A went down 2-0 in their opening game as the young guns felt their way in to the tournament. Isaac Ward was named Man Of the Match for the opener.
Goal Sports B put on a great performance against Skirlaugh A, who were said to be the strongest team in the tournament with several boys at Hull City's academy. Goal Sports B battled hard and lost 1-0 with Harry Iveson named man of the match.
Game 2 for Goal Sports A brought another defeat, this time 2-1 vs Bridlington Rangers who were a well organised bunch. The Goal Sports manager, Mark changed the players positions as they looked to sure things up at the back. After going 2-0 down from 2 scrappy and some what lucky goals the Goal Sports A team hit back with their first goal of the tournament, from Harry Davis after a monster of a throw from Keir Smith. Great pressure from Goal Sports saw them unlucky not to come away with at least a point! Man of the Match - Jordan Fraser
Goal Sports B left the field after a 5-0 defeat vs Burlington Jackdaws who played some exceptional football and scored 3 headers! Ben Glover impressed in goal despite the score and Oli James was named Man of the match.
The Final group games saw Goal Sports come up against Driffield Tigers and Pumas to determine who would finish 3rd and 4th in both groups. Goal Sports came out victorious in both games with 1-0 wins. The A team performed fantastically with Hayden Javeleau rounding Jack Gibson (Goal Sports Player) and finishing neatly to take the win after a great flowing move. Man of the Match; EVERYONE! - The B Team dominated their match yet only managed to win 1-0 after a host of chances. with Dylan Taylor showing some great skills and setting up Harry Iveson for the winner after a one two. James Watson performed well in defence but the Man of the match went to Dylan for his great play.
Quarter Finals; - Goal Sports A vs Brid Rangers. Goal Sports unfortunately went out at the first knockout hurdle after a 30 second goal from Brid. The Goal sports team just didn't concentrate from the start and were punished. Brid pushed for more as Josh Darley kept the score down. A rousing half time team talk saw Goal Sports put on a much better showing for their fans but it just wasn't to be. Man of the Match - Josh Darley

Goal Sports A = Jordan Fraser - Exceptional reading of the game and passed the ball short and long with superb composure.
Goal Sports B = Harry Iveson - Battled well in every game and took his goal well, was unlucky not to find his name on the score sheet more often.
